Now that I’m in my new studio space at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles, MO, it’s time for my next Encaustic Workshop!

In this two-day immersive workshop, students will learn techniques for working with encaustic, starting with the basics of equipment, materials and studio safety. Each day will begin with a demonstration before students work independently under my guidance. Multiple small technique-based pieces will be created while exploring smooth and textured surfaces, opacity vs translucency, image transfers, embedding papers and fibers, and more.

With a limit of 8 spaces available, the atmosphere will be comfortable and relaxed.

All supplies needed to create a series of artwork are included in the cost of workshop! A list of additional optional materials be emailed.

*Students are responsible for their own lunch.

Fee: $300 (Financing over 4 payments is also available.)
